How it all began...A grassroots effort by a social worker in the Iroquois School District is how Helping Hands began back in 2006, with the goal to help students whose families were temporarily financially strapped for the "extras" that many others could afford. Nowadays, Danny's Helping Hands continues to help students, individuals and families in the Elma, Marilla, Wales and surrounding areas with many different resources.
Danny's Helping Hands is funded solely through the generosity of others with donations. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization and we can provide receipts for monetary donations. Everyone falls on hard times at one time or another, our goal is to make things a little easier. |
In 2025, we assisted over 60 families for Christmas, with over 210 children!
