Danny's Helping Hands is committed to providing those in our community with the essential resources and support to the best of our ability. Our programs and services are designed to help you in your short term situation. Here are some ways we can help you and your family:

Clothing Room
Our Clothing Room contains clothing and footwear for men, women and children and is open to those in need for shopping on the first Saturday of every month from 10am- 12pm and the third Thursday of each month from 5-7pm. Stop by to "shop" for free. Our clothing is "swapped out" twice a year to accommodate the changing seasons here in WNY. We will have spring/summer items, and then fall/winter. If you cannot make one of these advertised times, please contact us to arrange a time that better fits your schedule. If you have a specific need, please contact us and we will do our best to assist you. Watch our social media for updates on our clothing rooms. Please note: The Clothing Room does not have Saturday or Thursday hours in January, but is open by appointment. Hygiene Supplies We know how important maintaining hygiene is for essential health and well being. Stop by our Hygiene Cart during our open Clothing Room hours and grab what you need. |
School Support
Iroquois Middle School Locker Program
Danny's Helping Hands supports this program at the Iroquois Middle School. Lockers are set up with personal care items and clothing for students to utilize as needed. Donations of deodorant and body spray, hair and dental care, as well as numerous items of everyday clothing are in supply for any student. Whether needing a warm sweatshirt to wear on a cold day, or a clean pair of socks, they are welcome to make use of anything available in the lockers. There are also opportunities for students to have the clothing washed or to take a shower at school if necessary. Please contact the school Social Worker for more details.

We understand health care costs can be a burden. If you find you are in need of assistance, please contact us.
Utility Bill Assistance
To help families maintain stable living conditions, we offer assistance with utility bills.
Easter Meals
Providing an Easter Meal to an individual or family, this new invitation only initiative focuses on those who have urgent challenges and need assistance with food insecurity during the Easter holiday. This program is offered to those with immediate hardships who are identified within our community.
Thanksgiving Meals
Families who are in need can sign up for our Thanksgiving Meal program, where we offer a pickup of various grocery items and a frozen turkey for their Thanksgiving Meal. The enrollment period is announced through our website and social media channels ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Holiday Gifts for Children
We want to ensure that children have a joyful holiday experience. Families who require assistance for the Christmas season for their children can contact us or fill out our form when enrollment is open.
Blessing Bags
Blessing Bags are available to a select group of individuals and focuses on those with immediate hardships. This initiative is designed for those with urgent need, so we can provide the resources that these individuals and families deserve during their time of immediate need. This program is partnered with Elma United Methodist Church, but all sign ups and information are managed through Danny's Helping Hands.
